The RPG 7 scope is not accurate anymore. Especially the OG rockets have a much lower range now.

Good post.
Protip for making the RPG-7 always connect, no matter the ammunition type: Make the target fill the sight from the boresight cross to the bottom line. That's the Chechen way. If it worked for them it works for us.

Actually RPG has to travel a certain distance before the warhead activate, but in that cause i think the RPG will still hurt the person its aimed at.
lets do a small fun biological math.
The rocket is probably PG-7VL, which has 2.6 Kg of weight and 115 m/s muzzle velocity, as we established the rocket require some range to activate its warhead, so the damage will be all physical.
So to calculate the force of impact it will : F=m*a / F=2.6*115 / F=299 Newton
an adult human skull require a force of 235 kg/cm or 2,300 Newton to fracture and 299N would only lead to a small term headache. & yes am fun at parties.

Firstly, acceleration and velocity are not the same thing and you can't substitute it in the F=MA equation. So in reality the warhead is about half a metre from his head so it would take about 0.04 seconds for it to impact his head. Using the correct equation for acceleration it would equal around 3875m/s² for that distance (0.5m/s/115m/s = 0.04s) (115m/s/0.04s = 2875m/s²). Using the correct maths 2.6kg*2875m/s² = 7475N.
It'd break your head wide open.
