This is not entirely true. I would agree though it is is safer for the moment to not update past 3.0

New version of teamspeak is not compatible with current version of Task force radio.

I had the issue of the API not working but Ben gave me a good link to fix it.

If you go to appdata - roaming - ts3client - plugins, delete whatever .dll TFAR files you have in there then grab these files from this link:

https://github.com/michail-nikolaev/tas ... compat.zip

then extract the .dll files contained in the Zip into the plugins folder it should then have a compatible API with teamspeak.

i just executed the tfar plugin installer again... everything worked after that

Apparently the plugins are moved from the program folder to users \AppData\Roaming\TS3Client\plugins\.
When I updated my TS, everything went smooth. Don't know why some people had problems.
