Event scheduled June 22nd and 25th on Special Event Server (Server No.4)

This would be a minor event taking place over two non-game nights (June 22nd and 25th). As it is a more niche mod with less content, I am not aiming to run this a major event. For those unaware Operation Trebuchet is the name for the 'Halo Mod' which focuses around the UNSC fighting the Insurrection in a relatively realistic setting rather than shooting large aliens in the face.

It provides a unique setting which is unusual for most special events that have been ran in the past as such it does not push us back in time giving us less advanced equipment. OPTRE pushes us forward with advanced HUDs, Orbital drops, advanced body armours and weapon systems; whilst still grounding us in a plausible conflict in the future.

I've been looking at the Ace compat stuff. I can't find any kind of documentation on what the Operation Trebuchet (OPTRE) ACE Compat actually changes so I went through the configs in that mod. I was mainly looking at what changes were made to the medical system as the optre mod adds Biofoam, Medigel and a Medkit to the item list.


In ACE Basic medical
Biofoam and medigel are just bandages. The only difference between the two is that Medigel takes 5 seconds to apply whereas Biofoam takes 8 seconds to inject. All default bandages take 8 seconds to apply (Before medic skill buffs are applied).

In ACE Advanced medical
Biofoam and Medigel are both "bandages" and are similar to the default elastic bandage. Except Biofoam is a bit better than an elastic bandage and Medigel is a bit worse.

eg.
on an Abrasion type wound (higher numbers == more better)
Elastic effectiveness is 4,
Biofoam effectiveness is 5,
and Medigel effectiveness is 3.75

In Both medical systems Biofoam and Medigel also reduce pain.
Pain is a value between 0 and 1. 1 means you are in so much pain that you can barely see.
A Morphine auto injector reduces pain by a value of 0.4
Biofoam reduces by 0.4
and Medigel by 0.1

Biofoam and Medigel do not have the negative effects associated with morphine. They do not touch the heart rate or blood viscosity and there is no max dosage.

The medkit is a PAK (Personal Aid Kit).


For loadouts I would suggest that every unit should have some medigel or low amounts of biofoam. And medics can have biofoam and medkits. Epinephrine and fluids will still be required. Tourniquets will still be useful.

You have the required votes, however you do not have an admin liaison as required by the special events SOP. If you do not have one for this event by the end of the week then the event will be scrapped.
You couldn't script your way out of a cardboard box.

The current mod list as mentioned above in the OP has now been set. Obviously, we can't have a special event without missions so now is the time to start developing if you are interested. When it comes to testing on a dedicated server, server no.4 will typically be setup and available 1 week prior to the event.
