Re: Arma 3 Video Thread
How about this one...
"How NOT to drive a tank"....
I'm not too sure Zoltan1976, if he ever see's this post, is going to be too happy when he see's I've not only recorded his arrogant obtuse and above all poor approach to the task at hand - clearly he signed up to support as he wanted to jockey a helo, not this hunk of iron with tracks - but to plainly not listen to clear, comprehensible instruction, and even ignore said instruction once the chain of command is made clear to him just beggars belief.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Igh6eK7zMEw
I want to post, I don't post this to specifically have a dig at Zoltan1976, but I'm afraid you let yourself down in this instance, and yes we all have off days, but on those off days don't tell people who are trying to do a job to "shut the fuck up", not only does it instantly lower you to the level of slug bait, but then later when you want to try and make constructive comments, no-one is listening to you, because you've already told us you're a class A, number 1, ass hat.
So, here you go, this is the situation, Command assigns one support driver to each tank, the vehicle chat can talk to the driver, and the COMMANDER (important word) of the tank or the gunner are going to be in charge, however, there are also passengers, like myself and others in the back of said tanks. With the sheer volume of comms traffic we all know it's hard enough to juggle command and get a clear picture.
Therefore, our squad lead, gives direct orders that vehicle occupants talk to their respective drivers and get the ball rolling, this is to a) reduce the work load on squad command b) reduce the amount of comms traffic on the command net c) get the crews to have an asset of a driver, whom is taking orders, and getting the job done, not a primaddona.
Unfortunately, primaddona is all we get, in spades.

Excellent footage, it's great to see all the ground vehicles survived the mission. On the other hand, I couldn't help notice that you were aiming the RPG too low against both the tank and the truck. Here is the optic guide for the RPG-7: http://zeus-community.net/a3forums/view ... ?f=15&t=80Beagles wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgMIVn0AqGg

Sorry, I can't help myself. We've had too many missions where people miss their RPG shots at critical moments
