I dont think we need any new markers, everyone on s2 marks things in the same way and it is understood. Adding in new markers would just cause miscommunication and all manner of complications that would ruin missions.
Marking the way we mark is quick and efficient, people have to think less about what a marker means which in turn causes them to react faster to markers (regarding enemy markers and such).

We have enough issue changing from Alpha, Bravo, and Command to 1-1, 1-2, and 1-6. We cannot deal with a whole new marker system.

Nah this stuff is cool. We dont have many authentic markers for any redfor faction really. We usually just turn the generic markers red. So stop memeing, im sure people can adjust .

We could always at first add a small text that says what it is on the more complicated soviet markers. I am sure Commander will also get a hang of it and in the briefing say what he wants the plan to be. Basically the plan will be covered in the briefing and the markers are just markers, plan is still the same, it will just add more immersion. Most will be obvious, people will learn and adapt no problem .

Considering there are still people struggling with ACRE and sometimes some of the new ACE features, adding more new things will just add up on the confusion.

Well those players who still struggle with basic things doesn't have anything to do with adding these markers or not because these "struggles" are so small and insignificant. We can't argue not to add anything because there will always be these player who either are new or just went into their own realm because they can't handle new things.
The majority of the server 2 people can handle it and adjust and the small minority are not leader roles anyway.
