Why it's an Iconic weapon from a today all the way back to the late 70's. I get why we didn't have it before since the only versions were with CUP or a few other packs but now it's standalone weapon which is highly detailed and isn't even that big of a file.

Looks better for Vietnam missions than a M16A4 covered in picatinny rails.

GRAD trenches

Size; 1/2mb

This mod adds textures to ACE trenches based on the current ground texture. When placing a trench you can already see a preview how the trench will look like when placing it. Players can also camouflage their trenches with small bushes.

Features:
Supported on 22 Maps (Vanilla, CUP and more)
Custom map config, add your own map if it is not supported
Camouflage your trench with small bushes
Place trenches in 3DEN and camouflage them directly
New trenches to place: Giant trench where soldiers can stand behind and vehicle trenches to cover vulnerable parts.

Chernarus
Celle
Prei Khmaoch Luong
Takistan

Requirements:
Arma 3 1.76 or later
ACE3 3.11.0 or later

It is possible to add other maps to the mod, "just" needs some searching for the cfgpatches of the map.

This mod is a feature inside Frontside Gaming Oficial Addon, that was realised separately, as a popular request. Aims to add a extra point of simulation to medics, so their role is a bit more defined.

Can we have a look at these terrains?

Taunus: X-cam island, maybe we can retest this? Maybe try it out on a special?

Been there and done that with Taunus, just a laggy demo for X-CAM.

X-Cam Taunus, probably not as it is nice to look at, and would be more performance viable with 64bit now, but it is not AI friendly, and there is a good portion of our userbase that would struggle to use it.

As for Kobbvatn, i agree it does have some nice cinematic views in places, however 2/3 of the map is not populated with objects, some of the more creative features like the several kilometer "tunnel" due to the nature of the ArmA engine is not executed very well unfortunately and it also has a dependency for CUP CWA which is not something we have.
You couldn't script your way out of a cardboard box.

ACE3 Ragdoll, 1 Mb
The following is a good description of the mod and taken from the page.
Been playing with a group for a longer time now and noticed that people immediately know if players are dead or not just according to the way they go down when shot. I kind of wanted to add some uncertainty back to the gameplay when using ace medical.

With this script players will not go into the ace death animation immediately when losing consciousness. Just like they are dying they ragdoll, but will snap to the ace death animation once the ragdolling is done, which pretty much means other players need to check the body to confirm death.

This script only works for players, it can be expanded for AI as well if people want that.

It works in SP and MP, however there could be some bugs when using it in an MP environment.

This appears to be a script not a mod.
You couldn't script your way out of a cardboard box.

For the immersion fellas, might be worth a look :lol: . Needs client and server placement.
Could see this become obnoxious after a while but it is customizable.
Would maybe also require the removal of the voicestop in ZClient.

I wouldn't mind if this were an optional mod like the sound mods but I personally wouldn't want this as a mandatory mod. I actually find it more immersive as it is now where it's us the players who are the sole voices of our avatars. Call outs such as spotting enemy positions and warnings of throwing grenades should be made by human players instead of relying on an automatic voice line.

Edit: If you could customise it so that it only includes the new voice lines for AI units, then I would have no issue.
